Kobe Up Close interview raises money for KVBFF

KVBFF co-founder Kobe Bryant sat down with Jimmy Kimmel on Aug. 15 at Nokia Theater at L.A. Live, for an unprecedented, fun and candid interview about his past, present and future.

More than 5,000 fans joined Kobe and Jimmy in person, and thousands more viewed the live broadcast on AXS-TV. Kobe spoke about everything from moving from Italy to Philly and encountering bullies, to where he might have gone to college, to his most memorable Lakers teammates.

Proceeds from the event will be split between KVBFF and Cedars-Sinai, for programs addressing homeless youth in Los Angeles. The event was hosted by Sports Spectacular, a support group for Cedars-Sinai.
